Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms. Nothing in this Policy removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law.


1. Free Plan and Free GEO Snapshot

The Free plan and the Free GEO Snapshot at /grader are provided without charge. No refunds apply because no payment is taken.

2. EU/EEA/UK 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off)

2.1 If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person acting outside any trade, business, craft, or profession) located in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within fourteen (14) days from the conclusion of the contract, without giving a reason, in line with Directive 2011/83/EU as amended (and its local implementations, including Czech Civil Code §§ 1820 ff. and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).

2.2 How to exercise the right. Send an unambiguous statement of withdrawal to support@geotrackerai.com with the subject "Withdrawal Request" and your account e-mail address. The withdrawal is effective when the request is dispatched within the 14-day window.

2.3 Effect on digital services already supplied. The Service consists of digital services not delivered on a tangible medium. Performance typically begins immediately after checkout. By accepting these Terms at checkout, you expressly request and consent that performance begins during the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, your right of withdrawal is reduced or lost once meaningful performance has been provided. In practice:

  • If you have not used the paid features (e.g., not started any manual scan, not triggered a deep audit, not generated any CSI action draft, not run a CSV/JSON export, not accessed paid-only dashboards) we will refund the full amount of the first paid period.
  • If you have meaningfully used the paid features, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the services provided up to the moment of withdrawal, in line with Article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU and corresponding national law. The remaining amount is refunded.
  • Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise. Stripe payouts can take 5–10 business days to appear in your statement.

2.4 Withdrawal does not waive any other consumer-law rights (e.g., remedies for non-conforming digital services under Directive (EU) 2019/770 or its national implementations).

3. Trials (when offered)

If your subscription includes a free or paid trial (e.g., a fourteen (14) day trial), the trial begins on the date stated in the checkout flow. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-applicable price and billing period. You will receive notice as required by applicable law (e.g., EU Directives 2011/83 and 2019/770; California BPC §17600 series; New York GBL §527-a). The 14-day right of withdrawal in Section 2 continues to apply to the first paid charge after a trial converts.

4. Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charge, wrong amount, charge after cancellation), contact support@geotrackerai.com promptly. We aim to acknowledge billing-error reports within one (1) business day and to correct confirmed errors within five (5) business days, subject to processor (Stripe / card network) timelines.

5. Service Outages

If the Service was unavailable for more than seventy-two (72) consecutive hours during your paid period because of a defect attributable to us, contact us within thirty (30) days for a prorated credit or refund for the affected time. Unavailability caused by third-party providers, force majeure, your own network/configuration, or scheduled maintenance announced in advance is excluded.

6. First-Time Subscriber Goodwill

If you are a first-time paid subscriber and decide within seven (7) days that the Service is not the right fit, with no more than five (5) scan requests made and no manual deep audits, paid-only Action Layer generations, or CSV/JSON exports triggered, we will consider a full goodwill refund. This is offered once per customer at our discretion and does not waive any statutory rights.

7. Annual Plans

For annual plans, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal applies on the original purchase as described in Section 2. Beyond the 14-day window, annual plans are non-refundable for the unused portion, subject to applicable mandatory consumer law and the service-outage and billing-error provisions above. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid annual period.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Change of mind after meaningful use of the Service (subject to Sections 2 and 6).
  • Forgetting to cancel before automatic renewal (subscription renewal and related notices are primarily handled through Stripe and the in-product billing portal).
  • Dissatisfaction with AI engine outputs (which depend on third-party providers and are inherently non-deterministic).
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service (Section 9 of the Terms).
  • Free GEO Snapshot runs (no charge applies).

9. How to Request a Refund

E-mail support@geotrackerai.com with:

  • your account e-mail address;
  • the reason for the refund request (and the legal ground if you are invoking the EU/UK 14-day right);
  • the date and amount of the charge.

We aim to acknowledge requests within one (1) business day and to issue approved refunds within fourteen (14) days of approval.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and refund eligible charges. Unauthorized or bad-faith chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of the disputed amount through lawful means.
