GEO Tracker AI is built and run by a single founder, with AI-augmented engineering doing the work that an early team normally would. No fake roster. No “trusted by Fortune 500” badge before we've earned it. One product. One brand. One inbox that answers.
Why this exists
In late 2025 I started watching ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Mode answer category questions. The same shortlist kept coming back: three competitors, never my brand. SEO was fine. The AI shortlist was not.
The category response was a wave of dashboards: here are the URLs AI cites for your queries, here is your share of voice, here is who beats you. Then the dashboard handed the patient back to itself with a bill. The actual work — the comment, the email, the pull request — was still on me.
GEO Tracker AI exists because the dashboard isn't the product. The action layer is. Drafts that respect each platform's etiquette. Honest classification of which sources are even worth acting on. And a 14-day outcome loop that tells me whether I moved the needle — or whether I should try a different approach.
How we build
Every product decision passes through these. They are also what keeps an indie product trustworthy at scale.
Every outcome is graded with confidence bands (high / medium / low). If the data is sparse, we say so. We refuse to ship "+5 citations" without telling you what we measured against.
We generate the artifact (Reddit comment, email, PR diff). You review, edit, and post on your own account. We will never have credentials to post on your behalf.
Frozen sources (archived Reddit, locked HN, Wikipedia) get a replacement strategy — not a wasted draft. We classify before we generate.
GEO Score formula, engine weights, mention-quality bands, and outcome-confidence rules are all in our public docs. No black box.
Roadmap
No vapor — only what's either shipped today or actively in build. Things slip; we will say so when they do.
How it's funded
No outside capital. Subscription revenue funds the product — that's the contract. It also means the roadmap is decided in service of paying customers, not a board deck.
No VCs, no advisor equity, no growth-team line item. Revenue from paid plans funds the next iteration. If a feature doesn't earn its keep, it doesn't ship.
A single founder makes every product call and writes every line of customer copy. AI tooling does the heavy implementation lift — what would take an early team of four runs through one operator instead.
The product needs to clear hosting + LLM cost from day one. Honest economics: GPT-5 / Perplexity / DataForSEO bills are real, and your subscription pays them — that's the deal.
No board, no liquidation preference stack, no five-year venture timeline. The roadmap is built to compound for years — not to flip into the nearest acquisition.
