Free GEO Snapshot
How the free, evidence-first Snapshot turns one domain into a small, inspectable AI visibility baseline.
The Free GEO Snapshot is a short, one-time AI visibility baseline for a domain. It is designed to answer a useful first question: when buyers ask a small set of relevant category questions, does the brand appear in the AI answers?
It is not a market-share claim, a rank across the whole internet, or a forecast of what every person will see. It is a disclosed sample that you can inspect.
What happens
- Enter a website domain and email address.
- GEO Tracker reads accessible product, category and proof pages to form a website brief. A recent verified brief may be reused instead of crawling the same pages again.
- It creates three buyer questions from that context. You review the questions before measurement begins.
- Each question is sent to ChatGPT Search and Perplexity.
- The report is available at a permanent, shareable link. We also email the link when the run is complete, so you can safely leave the page while it is running.
The report is intentionally small: three questions × two engines is at most six answers. An engine error or an unavailable answer remains visible as missing coverage; it is never converted into a negative result.
What the report shows
The opening verdict shows the number of successful answers in the sample, how many named the brand, and whether those mentions also became recommendations or cited the brand's own domain.
The report then makes the evidence inspectable:
- the exact buyer questions used in the run;
- the engine and result state for every question;
- raw engine answers in a scrollable reading pane, with mention, recommendation and owned-domain-citation states shown separately;
- observed product competitors and cited sources, kept as two different lists;
- evidence-linked next actions, rather than generic SEO advice.
If the brand is absent, the report says it was absent from that measured sample. It does not infer that the product is invisible everywhere. If it appears, the report says where and in which answer; a mention still does not automatically mean a recommendation.
How to read a first result
Use the Snapshot as a baseline and a diagnostic, not a verdict on your company.
- Brand mentioned answers: inspect the raw text to see whether the wording supports the buyer situation.
- Not mentioned answers: these are specific buyer questions where AI did not surface the brand in this run. They are useful input for positioning, product pages and future monitoring.
- Recommendation is stricter than a mention. A product can be named in a list without being recommended.
- Owned-domain citation is stricter again. It means the answer cited the submitted domain; it is not a traffic or revenue measurement.
What comes after the Snapshot
A Snapshot gives you a transparent starting point. A workspace lets you keep the confirmed buyer questions, build a larger monitoring baseline, repeat the same measurement over time and compare changes with the original evidence.
